Learn all about Multimedia
RSVP now to hear a panel of experts who will talk to us about storytelling techniques using multimedia.
Multimedia is the new buzzword in journalism these days as newspapers and other media scramble to reinvent themselves in the Internet age. We've assembled a must-see panel of three experts in the field who will educate you on the importance of multimedia in storytelling and tips on how to integrate photos, audio and video in journalistic reports.
Featured in our panel are journalist Jane Stevens, a lecturer in the New Media program at UC Berkeley's graduate school of journalism; Kim Perry, principal content producer for SignOnSanDiego.com, who recently earned a master's degree in journalism from UC Berkeley; and Barbara Palser, Director of Digital Media for the McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Group, which includes 10News-KGTV.
The event takes place Thursday, March 8, in the fifth-floor conference room off of the dining area at the San Diego Union-Tribune. It begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the panel from 7 to 8 p.m.
