SD-SPJ board member blogs on national SPJ Web site

San Diego SPJ board member Leo Laurence has written several blogs for the National Committee on Diversity on the national SPJ’s Web site, http://www.spj.org. Laurence is a member of the national diversity committee, and is the San Diego diversity chair.

His blog topics have included word choice when reporting on minorities, Freedom of Information Act training for Spanish-language media, and details of a recent two-day San Diego visit by national president Christine Tatum, including her take on diversity issues.
