No matter what you report on, it's always about the money. Here's your opportunity to learn how the money game is played from one of the top experts in the country. Nationally recognized private investigator Joe Dickerson finds the money — offshore bank accounts, the condo in the girlfriend's name, the cars in the children's trust and all of the straw corporations.
The Society of Professional Journalists, San Diego chapter, and the SDSU Friends of Journalism and Media Studies, present a panel devoted to private investigation. Denver-based private investigator Dickerson; local licensed P.I. Darryl Thibault of Pexis investigation firm; and local Lori Flor, who specializes in executive security and investigations, will share tricks of the information-digging trade and tips on following the elusive money trail.
The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21. Light refreshments will be served before the panel begins at 7 p.m. in the first-floor auditorium at The San Diego Union-Tribune, 350 Camino de la Reina, San Diego.
Students are welcome, and donations are appreciated.
